From Sài Gòn to Hà Nội: An Overview

The last stop on our two week Vietnam vacation was Hà Nội, the capital of Vietnam. We only had a little time before we had to part ways with our friends and begin life here on our own. We mostly used the last day to get some gifts at the night market, drink boba, and say goodbye.

Even though Sean and I are technically still in Hà Nội, we do not consider this time as vacation since we are both pursuing our own studies/personal ambitions but we’ll talk more about that in a later post. Our time traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hà Nội was filled with delicious foods, new experiences, and amazing friends. To make visualization easier for everyone, I’ve created a map (similar to the one I made in an earlier post) that lays out where we went and for how long. In between destinations we traveled by plane (indicated by dashes on the map), private driver, sleeper train, and bus. Take a look at the map below as well as the photos and links listed below to get an idea of everything we did during this two week trip of a lifetime.

Although our vacation is over, be sure to check back as Sean and I post more about our lives abroad. We’ll have a post up soon about what we’ve been up to in Hà Nội! As always, thanks for following along during our adventures.
